Why This Recipe Works
➡️ Protein from the chicken and Parmesan contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass. Helping promote feelings of fullness, making this a satisfying lunch option.
➡️ The wholemeal wrap provides complex carbohydrates that help fuel your brain, muscles and everyday activities. Wholegrains also contribute additional fibre, which supports digestive health.
➡️ Vitamin C, folate and potassium from the bell peppers and lettuce contribute to normal immune function. Plus cell division and muscle function, whilst adding colour and crunch to every bite.
➡️ Calcium from the Parmesan contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Whilst adding a rich, savoury flavour that pairs perfectly with the creamy dressing.
➡️ The combination of healthy fats, protein and fibre helps slow digestion, supporting satiety and providing a more sustained release of energy. Compared to many shop-bought sandwiches and wraps.
➡️ Preparing your own wrap at home gives you control over the amount of dressing, cheese and vegetables used, allowing you to tailor it to your preferences while still enjoying all the flavours of a classic Chicken Caesar.
➡️ Ready in less than 20 minutes, this recipe is perfect for meal prep, packed lunches and busy weekdays when you want something quick, balanced and delicious.

Method
- Slice the chicken breasts into strips and place in a bowl with the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat.
- Cook the chicken in an air fryer at 200°C for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway through, or cook in a frying pan over a medium heat for 8–10 minutes until cooked through and lightly golden.
- Meanwhile, prepare the Caesar dressing by combining the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and a pinch of black pepper in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Wash and prepare the vegetables. Shred the romaine lettuce and thinly slice the red and yellow bell peppers.
- Warm the wholemeal wraps in a dry frying pan or microwave for 10–15 seconds to make them easier to fold.
- Assemble the wraps by spreading a spoonful of Caesar dressing over each wrap. Top with the romaine lettuce, bell peppers, cooked chicken, and Parmesan.
- If using, add the avocado, cherry tomatoes, or crushed croutons for extra flavour and texture.
- Fold in the sides of the wraps and roll tightly. For a toasted finish, place the wraps seam-side down in a hot frying pan for 1–2 minutes on each side until lightly golden.
- Slice in half and serve immediately.
